MUMBAI: Chhapaak is an upcoming Indian Hindi-language drama film directed by Meghna Gulzar and produced by Deepika Padukone and Meghna in collaboration with Fox Star Studios. The movie is a biopic of acid victim Laxmi Agarwal, who fought such a gruesome crime bravely. She now has an NGO that fights for acid victims.

Today, finally the movie’s trailer was launched. The audience got to see a glimpse of what appears to be a gripping movie. The trailer received a thumbs-up from netizens.

During the trailer launch, Vikrant said that the one thing that he takes away from the movie is the conversation he had with Meghna before and after the movie. He feels that as actors they come on board last, as the writers and everyone else have done their work. He also said that he doesn’t break down very easily but has taken a lot from his character and the movie.
