MUMBAI :Deepak Antani has been winning the hearts of the fans with his beautiful acting contribution. Over time, we have seen him playing the role of Mahatma Gandhi in various movies and theatre plays. The actor is now all set to be seen in an upcoming movie titled Gandhi Godse - Ek Yudh, which is directed by Rajkumar Santoshi.

In an exclusive interaction with TellyChakkar, actor Deepak spoke in detail about his role in the movie, and also about how he was cast for the movie.

Deepak said that it was a great opportunity for him to collaborate with one of the finest filmmakers, Rajkumar Santoshi. Viewers will definitely love this movie because this is not just a history movie, but there are some things that have been given some cinematic liberty.

Deepak Antani said that when he found out while reading the newspaper that Rajkumar Santoshi is making this movie, he immediately approached the director to play the character Mahatma Gandhi. Later on, he is sitting along with the filmmaker and exchanging thoughts, and eventually was a part of the movie. The actor further adds that he is overwhelmed and very fortunate that he is a part of such a beautiful movie.

Deepak Antani said that he has been Mahatma Gandhi in various movies and plays, but this is a different experience; to be in a Rajkumar Santoshi movie and work with him. It was definitely a great learning experience, and this movie will definitely remain special to him always.
