MUMBAI: The debate on nepotism as been going on for a while where star kids have been given the platform and people who come from outside have to struggle. This has been the norm for quite some time.  

But it is been spoken on in the recent times as Sushant also faced the brunt of it. Twitterati is demanding a ban from all the movies produced by these production houses.  

Before Anushka was finalized for Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi , she had auditioned for a Dharma movie for which she didn’t get selected because she didn’t belong to the industry.

Post that Shah Rukh Khan saw her audition and mentioned it to Aditya Chopra after which she auditioned for the movie and bagged it on her merit. But that time also Karan told Aditya that he shouldn’t launch her as she didn’t have the superstar appeal.  

He kept telling Aditya to replace her but the producer was keen on having her and launched her. Though he apologised to her for it Anushaka keeps telling how to post her first film she struggled to bag another one owing to nepotism that was going on in the industry.  

The actress without mentioning names as said that she has gone through this where she was offered movie but then because of the word of mouth or preferences she was replaced.  

It’s good to see how she managed to prove Karan wrong and make it on her own in this business which is very tough to survive.
