MUMBAI: On February 21, Bollywood actors Rakul Preet Singh and Jackky Bhagnani are scheduled to exchange vows and take the holy "phera" in an early evening ceremony. A few days ago, there was a haldi ceremony to kick off the pre-wedding activities. They held their sangeet on February 20 and featured unique performances from their relatives and friends. The wedding is scheduled for today, February 21.

The popular news portal was informed by a source close to the couple,"Rakul’s 'Chuddha' ceremony is scheduled for the morning. Then the couple will take the 'saath phera' after 3.30 pm at the ITC Grand South Goa. Rakul and Jackky will have two wedding ceremonies: Anand Karaj and a Sindhi-style ceremony, reflecting both their cultures. The choice of an early evening wedding reflects the couple's desire for a bright and cheerful start to their marital journey."

"After the wedding, the newlyweds will host an after-party for all the guests. Close friends and family will join the couple in celebrating this joyous occasion," the source added.

Fans are excited to get snippets of their wedding day as they begin this new chapter together. The newlyweds will pose for photos following the nuptials, the insider added.

Rakul and Jackky held their sangeet and mehendi ceremonies on February 20. Actor Varun Dhawan, a close friend of the couple, surprised them with a special performance of a song. Varun danced to 'Husn Hai Suhana' from 'Coolie No 1' at the sangeet. At the sangeet, in addition to Varun, Shilpa Shetty, Raj Kundra, and other family members gave performances.
