MUMBAI: As Ayan Mukerji’s directorial venture Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani clocks eight years of its release today, fans were seen sharing scenes from the movie, which touched their hearts.
The Wedding Filmer’s celebrity photographer Vishal Punjabi in his INSTA Stories revealed that Deepika made a promise to him while shooting the wedding sequence of Kalki Koechlin in the movie...and she fulfilled it too.

During the film’s wedding sequence, Deepika promised Vishal that he would shoot her wedding and exactly five years after the movie, he was the one who shot Deepika and Ranveer Singh’s wedding nuptials that took place in Italy.

In his INSTA Stories, he wrote, “Did you know? While shooting Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, Deepika promised Vishal that he would shoot her wedding. Five years later, we shot the most beautiful wedding.”.
Along with this revelation, he also shared a picture from their wedding.

Deepika and Ranveer were reported to be dating while she was filming for this movie, followed by the couple tying the knot in 2018 in Italy in presence of their family and friends. The couple hosted three receptions after they returned to the bay.
Deepika will be next seen in Kabir Khan’s ‘83, Shakun Batra’s untitled flick, the Indian adaptation of The Intern starring megastar Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan starrer Pathan, an untitled movie with Prabhas and in Fighter, starring Hrithik Roshan.
