In Sanjay Gupta’s action-packed adventure, Jazbaa, Aishwarya Rai-Bachchan plays a feisty lawyer who has to defend a criminal in order to save her daughter who's held ransom by the villain.

Just like our review, the trailer plunges right into the plot without much ado. Ash seamlessly fits into the role of a lawyer, never letting us take our eyes off her, while Irrfan Khan, as a suspended cop, is as natural as they come. Together the duo has to not only defend a rapist-murderer, but also look for Ash’s kidnapped daughter.

 Irrfan has some of the best punch lines of the movie, which he delivers in his uber cool style. Aishwarya, in her comeback venture, is smart, suave, sexy and simply knocks it out of the park! The movie also stars Shabana Azmi and Jackie Shroff in pivotal roles.

Even though the premise of a mother desperately looking for her daughter while fighting a case she’s dead against is promising, Sanjay Gupta’s green-tinted frames and over-the-top background score kind of makes the movie a typical Bollywood fare. We have to watch the movie to find out if that’s a good thing or not!
