I want to break the image of Om: Kiran Karmarkar

Actor Kiran Karmarkar, who was last seen on Badalte Rishton Ki Daastan, will be back on television with the much-talked about show Pukaar- Call For The Hero (Life Ok), which also features Rannvijay Singh, Raj Babbar, Prashnat Narayanan and Vipin Singh. When Tellychakkar contacted the actor to talk about his role in Pukaar, the actor said, “I won’t reveal much about my character in the series, but, I can confirm you one thing that this role will be very different from my previous characters. I am trying to break the image of Om Agarwal with every new character and trying to play something different”. “My character in Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii as Om was an ideal son and husband, then my character of Sudhanshu in Thodi Si Zameen Thoda Sa Aasmaan was very different. In Uttaran I essayed the character of a dangerous man, who can do anything, then again my character in Badalte Rishton Ki Daastan was of a sophisticated, suave villain, added the actor. When the actor was asked about his new show, Kiran quickly replied, “This is a very different kind of show that we are trying to present. After 24 and Yudh, I don’t know how the audiences are going to accept it, but we are trying to do something new on television. I hope they like so that, people will at least try out something new”. Even we hope the same Kiran.
