Fear Files

Are you missing the horror series Fear Files on television? Are you looking for some more of the spooky dose?

Well, there is good news for you then!!

Zee TV will bring back their popular thriller series Fear Files in the month of April.

Yes, you heard it right!! Earlier, the series was produced by Zee TV’s in-house production house, Esselvision Productions. However, this time around, there will be four production houses involved in the series.

Read on for more exclusive information…

BBC Worldwide Media, SJ Entertainment (Shri Jagannath), Bodhi Tree Productions and Esselvision Productions will be making episodes for the new series of Fear Files.

News coming in is that BBC and Bodhi Tree have already shot an episode each, while Esselvision and SJ will be beginning shoot very soon. As we know, BBC Worldwide have enthralled audiences with fantastic love tales in Bindass’ Yeh Hai Aashiqui. SJ Entertainment, as we know has been producing episodics for Life OK’s Savdhan India for some time now. As for Sukesh Motwani’s Bodhi Tree, they have Nisha aur Uske Cousins on air on Star Plus, while they will soon come up with new-age episodic loves tales for Channel V too, for their show Twist wala Love.

A reliable source states, “The channel has brought in four different production houses to churn out episodes for them. The idea is to gain more variety in terms of look and feel, and storytelling.”

Fear Files will launch as a bi-weekly program sometime in mid-April.

For the uninitiated, before Esselvision could take over, Fear Files was being produced by Deepak Pandey’s Dreamz Images and Contiloe.

We tried contacting Palki Malhotra, Creative Producer, BBC Worldwide for a confirmation, but could not get through to her.

Our efforts to reach Bodhi Tree Producer, Sukesh Motwani and spokespersons at Esselvision and SJ Entertainment, but did not get any confirmation.

We could not get a comment from the channel too.
