Beautiful actress Kinni Modak says that her character in Zee Bangla’s new serial Phoolmoni (Shibaji Panja Production House) is a difficult one.

Kinni is essaying the role titular role in Phoolmoni. She is essaying the role of a woman, who is unable to become a mother.

About her character, she said, “Phoolmoni narrates the painful journey of a woman who wishes to be a mother but is unable to become one. I will have to express the pain of that woman, which I think is not that easy.”  

“Previously, I have played girl-next-door roles. Although this is the first time that I am playing such a difficult role, I am enjoying my work,” she added.

The actress feels that the soap has a strong message for the audience.

She opined, “In a mother-child relationship, it’s not important whether the child is your own or not. What matters most is the unconditional love that you have for your child.”

“This serial is different from others because it is not a love story or a typical spicy family drama. It is about a mother-child relationship, though the child is not Phoolmoni's own. Basically, in this story a child gives birth to a mother,” she signed off.
