MUMBAI: Mumbai is currently on high alert due to the heavy rains. It’s the fourth consecutive day since the rainfall hasn’t slowed down. As per reports, the rainfall level is five times the average. The stalled trains, crawling traffic, and waterlogged areas have resulted in inconvenience for everyone. Even Mumbai’s iconic dabbawalas couldn’t function.

According to exclusive information given to TellyChakkar, various TV shows have cancelled their shoots. Due to the rains, many actors couldn’t report to their sets. Star Bharat’s popular daily Jiji Maa and Sony TV’s Vighnaharta Ganesha and Yeh Un Dinon Ki Baat Hai have canned their shooting for the day.

Interestingly, Star Plus and SAB TV are still going ahead with the shooting of their shows.

The bank of episodes a show has probably plays a role too.
