Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh: Parents to actress Sara Ali Khan and son Ibrahim Ali Khan, the Panipat actor left everyone in shock when he tied the knot with actress Amrita Singh. Saif married Singh in 1991 at the beginning of his career and separated in 2004 after 13 years of togetherness. Talking about the messy divorce with Amrita Singh, during an interview, Saif Ali Khan revealed that it was not nice as he was constantly reminded of how worthless one is. He also shared that that taunts, jeers, insults and abuses were thrown at his mother and sister all the time. The actor later went on to share that he was done through all of it and felt healed. Saif Ali Khan is now married to actress Kareena Kapoor Khan and the couple are parents to son Taimur Ali Khan who has been an internet sensation since his birth.

Karisma Kapoor and Sunjay Kapur: The eldest daughter of Randhir Kapoor and Babita, actress Karisma Kapoor tied the knot with businessman Sunjay Kapur in 2003. Talking about their messy divorce, it was reported that Karisma went on to file an FIR against her estranged husband and mother-in-law Rani Kapur accusing them of mental harassment and domestic violence. Speaking of Sunjay Kapur, according to Mumbai Mirror, the businessman stated that Kapoor married him for his money. The couple is parents to two kids Samaira Kapur and Kiaan Kapur. Finally, Sunjay and Karisma were officially granted a divorce in 2016 and the custody of their kids was handed over to the actress. Sunjay Kapur is now married to Priya Sachdev and the couple are parents to a son named Azarius Kapur.

Manisha Koirala and Samrat Dahal: This Bollywood couple tied the knot in 2010 and went on to part ways soon after in 2012. Once upon a time, Manisha Koirala was quoted by PTI saying, 'I had a dreamy idea of marriage. If you are in a bad relationship then it's better to separate. There is no bitterness. I take full responsibility of hurrying up and wanting to get married and then realising I am not meant for this. There is no fault from the other side, the fault is mine.' Manisha has said that if one is in a bad relationship, it is better to separate and there will be no bitterness. The actress also mentioned she made haste in getting married and realised later she was not meant for it and accepted her full fault in it.

Rhea Pillai and Leander Paes: The tennis star and Pillai’s separation managed to garner the spotlight due to the messy proceedings. It was reported that Rhea sought a monthly maintenance of Rs 4 lakh from Leander and filed an official complaint against the Tennis star and his father under the Domestic Violence Act. The Tennis star and his estranged partner Rhea Pillai has been locked in a legal battle. The couple has a 14-year-old daughter Aiyana Paes born in 2004.
