MUMBAI: Kabir Khan is one of the well-known directors of Bollywood. The ace filmmaker has donned director's hat for several hit movies like Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Ek Tha Tiger, New York, among others.

Kabir has been a part of the Bollywood industry for a very long time now and is one of the A-list directors. Many superstars of B-town are keen to work with him.  

Now, here's an interesting thing about Kabir Khan which not many are aware of. Kabir is related to India's former President. Wondering how?

Well, Kabir was born to a north Indian Muslim father and south Indian Hindu mother. The director's father was a nephew of Dr Zakir Hussain who was India’s President from 1967 to 1969.

Khan is also married to a popular face of television and host Mini Mathur who is also a Hindu.

Kabir is one of those Bollywood directors who can make commercial films with a plot revolving around international affairs. Kabir Khan brings a facet of life to the big screen.
