Param Singh and Akshita Mudgal have been roped in to play the lead roles of Ahaan Khurana and Ishqi respectively in the show. Ahaan and Ishqi have extremely contradicting views over marriage and responsibilities. Although the duo are poles apart how Cupid’s arrow strikes them forms the crux of the story.

In a virtual press conference held by Sony TV, one of the producers of the show, Gul Khan opened up on what made the show take months to hit the tube. She said, “Usually, a show takes three to four months for the entire set up. However this one took a little longer because it was a difficult script. Also, the team at Sony TV was quite demanding, of course in a positive manner. They were quite precise over what they want out of the show. It took us time to figure out what shade we want to portray the show in. We knew what is to be conveyed but we were unable to figure out about the shade that we would convey the same on. We finally found the shade that we’re looking on for."
