A fresh wave of the novel coronavirus is being observed lately in the country. The positive cases of COVID-19 are increasing rapidly. The government has imposed a lockdown, and yet again, the city is going through a tough phase, health-wise as well as financially. Recently, several celebrities contracted the virus namely Aamir Khan, R. Madhvan, Sachin Tendulkar, Alia Bhatt, Amar Upadhyay, Priyal Mahajan, Toral Rasputra, Monalisa, Ankit Siwach, Rupali Ganguly, Sudhanshu Pandey, Parul Chaudhary, Ashish Mehrotra, Arjit Taneja, Nisha Nagpal, Maanav Gohil, Mohit Hiranandani, among others.

Now, the latest buzz is that popular actor and dancer Shantanu Maheshwari has contracted the novel coronavirus.

Shantanu took to social media and informed his fans and friends about his COVID test results. He mentioned that he wasn’t keeping well since a few days and took the test. However, the results were negative. But his health didn’t seem to improve, and he went ahead to do the test the second time and the reports came positive. He is currently under home quarantine and is taking the necessary precautions to battle the illness. He also requested everyone to be safe and stay indoors in this trying time.
