Shashi Sumeet Mittal Productions Pvt. Ltd’s upcoming show on Sony Entertainment Television which earlier had the title Beauty and the Beast and later got christened Dil Ki Nazar Se Khoobsurat (as per media reports) seems to have hit a roadblock when it comes to its female lead. Sargun Mehta was roped in to the play the female lead initially, but later Shraddha Arya was brought in as a replacement. However, now we have learnt that even Shraddha has opted out of the project. As per a reliable source, Shraddha wasn’t happy with the package she was being offered, in terms of remuneration. And since both the parties (production house and Shraddha) could not come to a mutual agreement the actress walked out of the project. We contacted Shraddha who said, “Yes, I was a part of the show but I am not associated with it anymore.” She further added, “I don’t know what really happened. There was no issue from my side at least.” So what about “monetary issues”? “That’s not the only concern. Other factors also played a part but I would not like to talk about them,” ended Shraddha. Producer Sumeet Mittal remained unavailable for comment.
