MUMBAI: Sony SAB's Ziddi Dil Maane Na is all set to go on floors from 30th August. The promos of this army based show have already left the fans on the edge of their seats.

We rang Agent Faizi to know about his preparations for the show and guess what, It was an engrossing conversation one could ever ask for. Faizi aka Aditya had some amusing anecdotes and answers to share with us and his super cool Faizi Army. 

This is what Aditya shared about his character, "Playing an army character is always a dream for every actor. When Sunshine Production approached me for Faizi there was no way I could say no. Faizi is the most relatable character in today's time. Despite being in the army he is soo full of life, unfeigned, naive and a flirt at the same time. But when it is about being patriotic, he will always keep his duty above everything. I really love Faizi the way he is and I find hints of Aditya in him often."

Talking about the preparations, Aditya mentions that "We had intense workshops. It wasn't that easy to mould ourselves into the characters. We all have well-defined characters. We had to perfect the certain style, posture and routine for being an Army officer for the show. Indeed we have been shooting with the same Army schedule; we wake up at 4 am and begin our training and shooting. I have felt exactly how an army officer would feel in his routine since we began the show."

While sharing about how intriguing the experience has been, Aditya revealed an amusing fact about the show, "This show has been shot like a web series or a film not as a daily soap. It is for the first time SAB TV got a major concept as you see the amount of detailing that has been done for the characters, the amount of care that has been taken to establish the sets and storyline will give you a Cinematic Experience on Television." 

"The cherry on the cake is its impeccable writing. In my 8 years of career, I haven't had such a mesmerizing character with such strong writing for it. We don't need to improvise our lines as they are soo apt. There is no need to bring any more touch to such refined lines", he added.
