MUMBAI: Aanchal Khurana is currently ruling several hearts with her stellar performance in Sony TV's newly launched show Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2.

The actress is seen playing the role of Brinda in the show and is paired opposite Ajay Nagrath.

The viewers are in awe of Aanchal's performance in the show.

TellyChakkar got in touch with Aanchal who spoke at length about her character in Bade Acche Lagte Hain 2 and much more.

A few days ago, there were constant speculations about you quitting Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2. Would you like to comment on that?

No, I am not leaving the show at all. It was just a low phase in my life. My family is not here with me in Mumbai, I was all alone. Also, I did not shoot for the show for several days. I am not a social person, it is just my gym, my boutique, and my shoot. I just wanted to go back home and be with my family.

Do you think Brinda's character deserves more screen space in Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2 given the fact that Brinda has a prominent role to play in Ram's life?

I am happy with what I am getting right now. I'll be more than happy if Brinda's screen space in the show is increased. It would be great if I get performance-oriented scenes. It is a bit confusing as we have no clue what is written in the future story of the show. Of course, the show is about the leads, so it has to be about Ram and Priya. I am just a character there.

What kind of changes would you like to see in Brinda's character in the future track?

There won't be any changes in Brinda's character. She will be the same. In fact, Brinda will bring changes in others' life. I had done a scene with Adi which had the same lines which I say in real life. Ajay keeps saying the same in real life as well.

My first scene in the show was appreciated by Ekta ma'am. I have the liberty to play the character my way. I know what I have to do.  

I had to create a bond with Ram that looks like we are best friends and not make it look like we are brother and sister or anything else.
