MUMBAI : Legendary actress Madhubala’s sister Madhur Bhushan lands in trouble as writer of Madhubala’s biography 'Madhubala: Dard Ka Safar' sued Madhur for Rs 1 crore. She is very annoyed with Madhur Bhushan for running down her book 'Madhubala: Dard Ka Safar' in a public notice issued a few days ago while filmmaker and Padmini Kolhapure’s husband Tutu Sharma bought the rights of Kumari's work.

Lavin Hirani, Kumari’s advocate was quoted saying as, "While it’s too early to comment on the outcome of the dispute, the claims being made by my client is that the book and the subsequent film being produced are based on facts and information that are in the public domain since as early as the 1960s which remain unchallenged till date. Even otherwise no one can claim exclusivity let alone ownership to develop/produce any books, scripts, films based on such widely known facts and information in relation to the deceased personality."

Madhur Bhushan is frantically trying to put a film on her legendary sister together with a group of producers. On the other hand, Sharma too wants to make a film on Madhubala's life. It's quite a fiery race to the finish.
