MUMBAI : The Badshah of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan, has left a huge impact in people’s lives, and continues to do so even today with his amazing contribution to the Bollywood film industry. He started out by acting in a few TV serials, but now he rules the big screen after years of hard work and dedication. As we celebrate his birthday today, let us take a look back at the educational qualifications and what led to him becoming the star we know and love today.

Born on 2 November 1965, Shah Rukh Khan started his career with the TV show 'Fauji' in 1989. After that he never looked back. He is known by fans worldwide as the ‘Romance King’, ‘Badshah’, and ‘King Khan’. Shahrukh has been living in Mumbai for years now, but his childhood was spent in Delhi. He did his schooling from St. Columba, Delhi. It is said that Shahrukh Khan was always a good student during his schooling.

After completing his 12th, he took admission in Hansraj College, Delhi to study BA Honors. He studied Economics in college. However, after 28 years, in 2016, he finally obtained a bachelor's degree. After completing his graduation, he enrolled in Delhi's Jamia Millia Islamia University to pursue his Masters in Mass Communication, but could not see it to completion due to personal reasons. After this he did not continue his studies, and moved to Mumbai. After a long time, Shah Rukh's luck and hard work bore fruit, and that’s how he became the king of the silver screen.

Shahrukh Khan's father, Mir Taj Mohammad Khan, was a businessman. His mother's name was Lateef Fatima Khan and his sister's name is Shahnaz Lalarukh Khan. Sadly, they passed away before they got to see the success of their son. Shahrukh Khan is a very successful and popular actor today. He lives in a luxurious bungalow, Mannat, in Mumbai with his wife Gauri and three children; Suhana, Aryan, and AbRam.

Shahrukh Khan has played memorable characters in various films and has also made many blockbuster films. The negative character he played, Rahul, in the film Dar still gives shivers down the spine. Some more iconic roles of his is the role of Raj from the film Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (DDLJ), Rahul in the film Dil To Pagal Hai, Mohan Bhargava in the film Swades, Veer in the film Veer Zara. The character of Pratap Singh, the character of Major Samar Anand in the film Jab Tak Hai Jaan, and the character of Rizwan Khan in the film My Name is Khan are a few classic characters that made the actor the Badshah of Bollywood.
