MUMBAI :  Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone will become the first Indian to unveil the FIFA trophy today, prior to the final match. India’s biggest global ambassador escorted the FIFA World Cup trophy held in Qatar, in a specially designed truck, and unveiled it in front of the world at the Lusail Stadium. The actress walked onto the field with the trophy, alongside FIFA legend and former Spanish footballer, Iker Casillas Fernandez.

With a weight of 6.175 kgs and made of 18-carat gold and malachite, the unveiling of the FIFA World Cup trophy is a very important part of the pre-match ceremonies, which made it a huge moment for India.

She looked stunning in a white shirt, brown overcoat, black belt and her amazingly beautiful smile, the diva had millions of cameras pointed at her in the bustling stadium.
