You've seen numerous realty comedy shows but now brace yourself for a 'comedy gang war'. Bindass announces 'Hass Ley India Comedy Gang War' auditions beginning from January 14, 2008. The Gang who wins the comedy gang war will get an opportunity to act in UTV Motion Pictures movie. Here's the deal, Bindass is hunting for a gang of comedians across cities like Mumbai (Jan 19), Delhi (Jan 19), Ahmedabad (Jan 17), Kolkata (Jan 15) and Lucknow (Jan 17) beginning from Jan 15 for auditions. You can pre- register your gang by logging on the Bindass site. Each city's winner gang will come to Mumbai and compete for the grand prize - an opportunity to act in a film by UTV Motion Pictures. At the auditions, the comedy gangs will have to perform a humorous skit for three minutes. This will be followed by a preliminary round and a final round. One gang will be selected from each city. The competition with get tougher, as the best five teams will compete with each other in Mumbai for five weeks and a winning team will emerge. Hass Ley India Comedy Gang War begins from 31st Jan 08 and will be judged by Shekar Suman and Makarand Deshpande. Commenting on this development Shekhar Suman says, "I've always believed in exploring newer avenues. Has Ley India Comedy Gang War just presents me one such opportunity. Besides, it's great to be working with Makarand Deshpande. We share a great relationship with each other. Also, the two of us have vast experience in theatre. We know all the ras of acting."
