Gagan Kang and Arijit Lavania played Indra and Nandi in Colors' Mahakali. The both of them met with a tragic end following a horrific car crash in Manor highway (Palghar district). They were on their way back home to Goregaon in Mumbai. May their souls rest in peace.
On 1 April 2016, popular television actress Pratyusha Banerjee committed suicide and was found hanging in her Mumbai apartment and according to the postmortem report the cause of death was asphyxia.
Television actor Sanjit Bedi met his untimely death on June 23, 2015 due to prolonged illness. Sanjeet wad better known as Dr. Omi from the popular show

MTV VJ and model Nafisa Joseph committed suicide by hanging herself after her marriage with businessman Gautam Khanduja was called off.
Dilip Dhawan, who best known for his role as Guru in the television serial Nukkad, also acted in serials like Janam, Deewar and Tere Mere Sapne, died due to heart attack.

Vivek Shauq was a noted actor, comedian, writer and singer. He died of heart attack on 10 January 2011 in Mumbai.
