MUMBAI :Malavika Mohanan is one of the most famous actresses we have in the South film industry. She started her career with the Malayalam movie Pattan Pole in 2013 and later starred in many movies like Nirnayakam (Malayalam), Petta (Tamil), Master (Tamil), and Maaran (Tamil).

In 2017, she was seen in Majid Majidi’s Hindi movie Beyond The Clouds which also starred Ishaan Khatter in the lead role. Her performance in the movie was appreciated a lot. Currently, Malavika is busy garnering praises for her performance in Christy which was released on 17th Feb 2023. The Malayalam movie has received mixed response from the critics, but the actress's performance is praised in it.

The actress is the daughter of cinematographer K. U. Mohanan who has worked in many Bollywood and Malayalam films like Don, Aaja Nachle, We Are Family, Fukrey, Raees, Carbon, and others.

Malavika currently has two films lined up, Thangalaan and Yudhra. The former is a Tamil film and stars Chiyaan Vikram in the lead role. Meanwhile, Yudhra is a Hindi movie and it also stars Siddhant Chaturvedi in the lead role.
