The song features groovy beats, electrifying music and Pooja Hegde's addictive hookstep, which have added to the song's incredible reach. So far, among the latest lyrical releases, Kanimaa's lyrical video has surpassed a whopping 40 million views on YouTube. Pooja's natural presence combined with her dance flair has added a significant boost in the song's massive feat.
Beyond the admirable feat, Pooja's admirers are all over the social media, recreating the viral hookstep, and enjoying the song's catchy beats, just like Pooja enjoyed it while shooting for Kanimaa. Pooja Hegde brings a touch of love and innocence in the gangster drama, also starring Suriya as the male lead. Directed by Karthik Subbaraj, Retro is scheduled to release on May 1.
Apart from ‘Retro’, Pooja Hegde will also be seen in an upcoming Bollywood rom-com, ‘Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai’. The actress has begun shooting for the film, and she will be seen sharing the screen space with Varun Dhawan. Directed by David Dhawan, the film is soon to be released.
