MUMBAI : Thalapathy Vijay starrer Beast which released last year had failed to impress the audiences and it had also not left a strong mark at the box office. So, everyone was eyeing Varisu, and fans of Vijay had high expectations of it. 

The movie has hit the big screens today, and many people have already watched it. Well, Varisu is getting a very mixed response from the netizens. While some are calling it a perfect family entertainer, some are calling the film cringe.

Varisu has clashed with Ajith Kumar’s Thunivu and currently on Twitter the latter is getting more praise. Everyone is keen to know which film will do better at the box office. 

Varisu will also be released in theatres in Telugu and Hindi. The Telugu version which is titled Vaarasudu will hit the big screens on 14th January 2023, and the Hindi version will release on 13th January 2023. It will be interesting to see what response the movie will get in Telugu and Hindi. 

Thalapathy Vijay’s Beast was also released in Hindi, and it had just collected Rs. 2.30 crore at the box office, and Master which was released amid the pandemic had collected Rs. 4.73 crores in Hindi.
