As Lakshmi and Ahana are conversing, Malishka overhears them and learns about Ahana's pregnancy. Further, she cooks up a dirty plan to humiliate Laxmi and prove her characterless. Moreover, she bribes Balwinder to claim to be the father of Laxmi's child and take her away. However, the plan flops as Rishi saves Laxmi from Balwinder and takes her back home with full respect. This leaves Laxmi emotional and she wonders when will Rishi realize their love.

On the other hand, as the divorce day arrives, Lakshmi is left dumb and silently sobs imagining her life without Rishi. Rishi tries to fight and argue with her but she quietly walks off leaving him surprised. Soon, Rishi realizes Lakshmi's pain and wonders if she is here for alimony and why she is saddened by the divorce. Meanwhile, Virendra also wonders why would Lakshmi get pregnant with another's child if she needs alimony from Rishi.
