MUMBAI: Sasural Simar ka 2 starts with Gitanjali Devi who entrusts Simar Bhardwaj with the task of finding an ideal bride for her grandson. Simar's quest ends when she meets her namesake, Simar Narayan, who dreams of making it big as a singer.

The lead cast includes Avinash Mukherjee, Radhika Muthukumar, Karan Sharma, Tanya Sharma.

Geetanjali Devi gets Aarav arrested to stop him from visiting Simar when here the mehendi function starts. Avinash announces the wedding date and thus the functions kick start. And this is when Simar gets ready for the function.

The twist in the tale is that the Oswals have attended the Mehendi function.

While Simar is marrying Samar just for the sake and happiness of her parents, Reema and Chitra try to cheer up the sad Simar. Reema and Roma will also give a lovely dance performance for Simar to celebrate her Mehendi ritual.

Simar misses Aarav while Aarav is restless. Will Simar and Samar get married?
