It seems Param’s Dastar Bandi function begins where Harleen starts the ritual.

Param stops Harleen and does not allow her to perform the ritual.

Param wants Meher to perform the ritual which upsets Harleen.

Harleen walks away from the place and gets extremely upset being unaware of the reality.

Param feels Meher did Dastar Bandi for Yuvi and hence he is very strong.

Thus, Param too wanted Meher to perform the ritual but Harleen took it the other way round and blames Meher.

It would be really interesting to see what happens next on the show.
