MUMBAI: Balika Vadhu 2 on Colors is one of the most loved shows on television today. The show is back with a second instalment by popular audience demand and while the first season focused on a Rajasthani backdrop of child marriage, this season focuses on a Gujarati background on the same subject.

After the massive loss to Premji, he successfully brings Anandi back home, but Maadi baa doesn't stop torturing the little girl. She is asked to leave school for good because they don't want their daughter-in-law to go ahead of their son. Now, Sejal takes a stand for Anandi and gets her dressed for the school. While she brings her downstairs to leave, the family members are shocked to see Anandi head out for school. 

The upcoming episode will have a new entry in the show Anand, played by Krish Chauhan who was last seen as Khanderao in Punyashlok Ahilyabai. He will bring a fresh perspective to Anandi's life and turn out to be his new companion leaving Jigar behind. It will be interesting to see if this new entry will bring joy or crack in Anandi's bond with Premji and the family,
