These days, the storyline of the show is focusing on Virat and how he is hiding the truth about Shruti from Sai and he feels guilty about it, on the other hand, Sai also suspects that Virat is up to something.

Sai knows that Shruti is in critical condition and nothing is going to change this and therefore she tries this move.

Virat on the other hand is happy that Sai has kept her hatred aside and has decided to take care of Shruti and help her out.
