MUMBAI: Star Plus show Imlie has been extremely interesting and the audience has been in awe of the drama.

Produced by Gul Khan, it stars Sumbul Touqeer Khan and Gashmeer Mahajani. The series is a loose adaptation of Star Jalsha's Bengali series Ishti Kutum. The narrative revolves around how Aditya lands at a village to report on a gangster and later, situations lead him to get married to Imlie while he is already committed to Malini for marriage. Since he cannot handle the situation well, he ends up getting married to Malini too.

The current story of Imlie revolves around the Tripathi family and all guests enjoying costume party by dressing up like famous Bollywood personalities.

Further, Anu gets furious at Imlie for ruining Malini’s Mehandi and tries to slap her but Aryan protects her and warns Anu against insulting his staff. Now as per the upcoming twists of Imlie serial, Anu will call Imlie a stepsister of Malini and poke her and would wait for Imlie to reply to her queries.

Further, Imlie makes clear that she believes in action but not in reaction.
