MUMBAI: Colors’ show Molkki is an interesting drama.
The show features Priyal Mahajan, Amar Upadhyay and Toral Rasputra in pivotal roles.
The concept of the film is based on a practise in Northern India of bride buying where poor girls are sold off as brides to rich men.

The story revolves around Purvi, a 19-year-old girl who becomes the molkki bride of 42-year-old chief Virendra Pratap Singh, a widower, and father of four children. She fights for her and other molkki brides' rights, as well as fulfil her responsibilities as wife, daughter-in-law, mother, and chieftess of Rewari.
The show focuses on an important drama currently wherein though they are currently at odds, now Virendra gets a piece of shocking news that Purvi’s school got a new owner.
And this is what shakes Virendra to the core when he finds the truth. Purvi who signs a bond that if she will quit before 2 years then she will have to pay the fine amount of 10 lakh rupees, is now super shocked knowing the new owner of the school.
