MUMBAI: Star Plus, a premier entertaining channel known to deliver extraordinary content and venture into unexplored territory, has brought its audience a new show, Jhanak. Hiba Nawab will be seen essaying the titular role of Jhanak in the show, along with Krushal Ahuja aka Anirudh as the main protagonist, and Chandani Sharma will essay the character of Arshi in the show.

Earlier, Arshi was upset over how she became Mahan by giving the same gifts to her. Later, Jhanak was drunk and blamed Anirudh for behaving rudely with her. Everyone was shocked by her behavior. She grasped Anirudh’s collar when Arshi called her. Jhanak told her to keep quiet. Arshi was angry and slapped her hard. She is devastated.

Now, Anirudh stops his car when he feels he should tell everything to Arshi. He tells her that after Urvashi’s suicide, Jhanak was lonely so he had to stay in her house at night. However, Bharat fixed Tejas and Jhanak’s marriage and suddenly she went missing. She requested his help and found Jhanak. Villagers forced him to marry Jhanak. She was in disbelief and he affirmed her question.

He explains that he tried to refuse, but both had no option, this marriage doesn’t mean to him and Jhanak as well. She asks him did he got mad and how he did this to her. Later, Anirudh meets Jhanak and asks her to come to the doctor. However, Jhanak refuses to visit a doctor but requests to go to Srinagar again. Anirudh says she has to go to Arshi’s place and feels sorry for that. However, she refuses.
