MUMBAI: Sony TV is going to be the home to one such new show ‘Kavya - Ek Junoon Ek Jazba’ starring Sumbul Touqeer Khan and Mishkat Varma. According to the promo of the show, Sumbul will be playing the role of IAS Officer Kavya who is married to an IPS officer. The story will revolve around Kavya who will make many sacrifices for her career.

Kavya is overjoyed that she has finally made progress toward her goal of becoming an IAS officer. She won't be able to control her feelings when she realizes Jaydeep is her source head.

Kavya's mentor, Jaydeep Thakur, encouraged her to pursue her dream of becoming an IAS officer, but in exchange, he wanted her to lose a year so that another student might take her place in college.

Jaydeep is enraged that Kavya is unwilling to make that sacrifice for him; as a result, he has come to discipline her.

Jaydeep will make an effort to dispute Kavya's competence and prevent her from becoming a successful IAS officer.

Will Kavya go against Jaydeep to fulfill her dreams?
