MUMBAI: Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke is gearing up for a high voltage drama.

A spin-off of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, the serial streams of Star Plus under the production of Rajan Shahi’s Director's Kut Productions. It stars Rhea Sharma and Shaheer Sheikh in the lead roles.

Soon, Meenakshi (Rupal Patel) will be creating a big drama in the house as she will attempt suicide. Meenakshi will have a letter sent over to Abeer (Shaheer Sheikh) which will read that she is ending her life. Learning the same, Mishti (Rhea Sharma) will run to save Meenakshi’s life. When she asks Meenakshi not to make such a huge decision, she will put forth a condition to Mishti.

Meenakshi will tell Mishti that she would have to leave Abeer if she does not want her to take such a drastic step.
