MUMBAI: Star Plus show Imlie has been extremely interesting and the audience has been in awe of the drama.
Produced by Gul Khan, it stars Sumbul Touqeer Khan and Gashmeer Mahajani. The series is a loose adaptation of Star Jalsha's Bengali series Ishti Kutum. The narrative revolves around how Aditya lands at a village to report on a gangster and later, situations lead him to get married to Imlie while he is already committed to Malini for marriage. In the episodes ahead, Malini will convince the family members that Aditya and she slept together. Not only that, Aditya will apologize to her and Imlie will think that why is Aditya falling into Malini’s trap for no fault of his. The family members will accept Malini as the daughter-in-law once and for all breaking Imlie emotionally.
The drama now showcases that he has realised his love for Imlie and wants to make things right. He wants to give Imlie the love and respect she deserves from him and the family.
In the episodes ahead, as we already know, Malini is trying to win back her love for Aditya and get back her rights. Malini has started pulling off tricks to throw Imlie out of Aditya’s life.
