MUMBAI:  Sasural Simar Ka 2 started with Gitanjali Devi entrusting Simar Bhardwaj with the task of finding an ideal bride for her grandson. Simar's quest ends when she meets her namesake, Simar Narayan, who dreams of making it big as a singer.

The lead cast includes Avinash Mukherjee, Radhika Muthukumar, Karan Sharma, and Tanya Sharma.

As earlier reported Ishita and Maddy discussed their failed attempts at harming Simar! At this moment, Simar will enter and tell them that she knew that there was someone behind the attack. Ishita spots Reyansh coming toward her, she starts sobbing and denies all allegations against her. Reyansh accuses Simar of breaking his and Ishita’s marriage, but Aarav somehow manages the situation and apologises to Reyansh.

Now, in the future storyline of the show, the family gathers for ‘Haldi’, but Ishita refuses to apply the ‘Haldi’ as she comes to know that the ‘Haldi’ was first applied to Reyansh. Simar tries to convince her, but she refuses. Ishita, this time, gets Simar drunk and Simar starts to feel dizzy. In a drunken state, Reema searches for Rudra but finds Vivaan and gets disappointed.

It will be interesting to see what will happen to Simar now.
