MUMBAI: The story of Imlie, Star Plus’ show unfolds the divorce drama between Aditya and Imlie.
Imlie and Aditya have parted ways due to Malini’s conspiracy. Imlie who has started her new journey as a journalist works in Aryan’s media house where Aditya is also working.
Imlie is trying to make her own identity post her separation from Aditya wherein Aditya feels irked to see her with Aryan.

Aryan on the other hand is helping Imlie to stand on her own feet. Aditya gets intolerable to see Imle and Aryan together and allege her for having an affair with her boss.
Meanwhile, Malini tricks the hostel wardon and makes Imlie homeless. Helpless Imlie finds shelter in the office but later Aryan catches her red-handed.
Aryan takes Imlie to his house where Aryan’s sister and mother welcome her wholeheartedly.

Malini instigates Aditya against Imlie having a relation with Aryan and thus Aditya fumes in anger.
Angry Aditya decides to divorce Imlie thinking of her affair with Aryan.
Imlie and Aditya get divorced. But Imlie certainly goes to Aditya’s house to reconcile with him but somehow gets insulted after Aditya shuts the door on Imlie’s face.
