Ankita Dubey, known to many as Vibha of Colors’ Kairi, has a very interesting story of her journey from theatre to the television industry to relate. Having come down to see how the television industry works in Mumbai, the actress was finalised as the lead in Balaji’s regional show. Later on, she went on to do Shashi Sumeet Mittal Pvt. Ltd’s <em>Kairi</em>.

As seen in the earlier episodes of Colors’ Kairi, Vibha’s (Ankita Dubey) family wants her to settle down in life. Accordingly, they are searching for a suitable groom. Now, the first prospective groom tried to run away with the <em>shagun</em> money resulting in the engagement being called off. However, the show will soon see an entry of another prospective groom. Faisal Sayed, who has done ads and theater will be seen as the next “to be husband” in the Shrivastava household. As per a reliable source he will try getting physical with Vibha in the upcoming episodes.
