It seems like Zee TV is on a roll hiring a production house to make a show and then firing it. Earlier it was a show to be produced by Synergy apparently shelved by the channel owing to certain creative differences with the production house. And now we hear that the channel has decided to take back the production rights of their forthcoming show <em>Dahan</em> from Endemol India. Buzz is that the show has now gone to Hats Off. Endemol had almost finalised the entire cast of the show and it was all set to go on the floors soon.

Endemol India is trying to rope in some big and talented names for its upcoming show <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/new-zee-show-dahan-have-yashpal-sharma-negative-lead>Dahan</a> on Zee TV. After finalising Bollywood actor Yashpal Sharma, other stalwarts joining him are Farooq Sheikh and Lubna Salim. Actor Jatin Shah too will be seen in a key role.

Endemol's upcoming fiction show tentatively titled Dahan will hit Zee TV some time mid- May. The show which is set against a rural backdrop will be a daily. Though the other actors have still to be signed in, one important name that is being considered is Yashpal Sharma better known as traitor Lakha of <em>Lagaan</em>. The actor is all set for his big role as an antagonist as it's a key role.
