Mumbai dabbawalas now have a new claim to fame. They are the latest to join the television bandwagon that thrives on publicity and ingenuous promotional campaigns. This time around, things are a wee bit different! Sahara One has taken on the services of the Mumbai dabbawalas to promote what they call <em>Television Ka Naya Rang</em>. If you travel by Mumbai locals, it is easy to spot the dabbawalas going about their chores sporting a bright pink jacket with the channel's new logo firmly in place.

This SaharaOne daily went off air in mid December, just when it introduced two new characters and now, has decided to air its reruns! The <em>Kohinoor</em> reruns start 2 January at 11 pm and if the on air promos are to be believed, it is back due to popular demand. Although it's a rerun, the show is bound to look different.

Kohinoor on SaharaOne will have two new entrants on the show. The thriller on SaharaOne is getting Zarina Wahab and Rahul Singh entering the show. Zarina plays Iravati Bai and Irawati's long lost mother. "I play this blind mother who belongs to the Pandava's generation.Its a very nice role. And you have to watch me in this avatar,"smiles the lovely Zarina. The members of Purple Flower kill Iravatibai's husband and son and they leave her wounded and also kidnap her daughter Chandini (Iravati).Although she was left frail and blind she gathers herself and starts an ashram for women.

Kituu has arrived! And she is not just any girl next door -- she is a journalist, who takes her career seriously! SaharaOne television announced its latest show, <em>Kituu Sabb Jaantii Hai</em>, at the ITC Grand Hotel in central Mumbai on Wednesday, and going by the showreel presented at the press meet, <em>Kituu</em>...looks like a show that can make heads turn. The show will be aired Monday to Thursday at 9:30 pm. As has been already reported by Telly Chakkar, the show is being produced by Manish Goswami's Siddhanth Cinevision.(Kituu is newest weapon in SaharaOne's kitty)

Manish Wadhwa, who plays the ruthless assasin Kali in SaharaOne's <em>Kohinoor</em>, will now be seen in a positive avatar in Star Plus' <em>Antariksh</em>, being produced by Ashim Samanta, who earlier did <em>Kalcchakra</em> for the same channel. <em>Antariksh</em> is based on science fiction and will be a weekly that will be aired at 9 pm, post <em>KBCI</em>, we have it on authority.

Amit Sadh is going to be killed off in SaharaOne's <em>Kohinoor</em>, during the 6 November shoot! And our sources tell us that the actor had no clue about the scheme of things until about a few days back!
