Sahara One announces the launch of Ghar Aaja Pardesi, marking the debut of Non-Fiction czar, Gajendra Singh in the Fiction genre on Indian Television with this new fiction series. Ghar Aaja Pardesi tells the story of a daughter's quest for her long lost father at a turning point in her life, while glorifying the sacrifice of her mother, amidst intense opposition from her grandfather. The show portrays Bhavani Shankar Mishra (Vikram Gokhale), patriarch of a respectable family of Benaras and the conflict of his beliefs and thoughts with those of his family.

The show is centered on Sejal played by popular TV star Sanjeeda Sheikh, Sejal finds new meaning and dimension in her life after her marriage.
