Eid special: Style tips from TV celebs
Festival is the time to not just enjoy and bond with family but it is also a time to get your best foot forward in terms of style. With Eid ul Adha here, fashion pundits say that it’s time to get your traditional best on the fore. Tellychakkar.com spoke to TV celebs about their fashion taste on the occasion. They also share their exclusive style tips. Read on… Rafi Malik: Eid is the symbol of purity and I like to wear white on the occasion. It’s the day to go traditional and thus I wear pathani on the day. Since it is also a day of sacrifice and about counting your blessings, don’t go overboard on style factor, but keep it simple and elegant. Do enjoy the day with your friends and family. Sana Khan (Bigg Boss): Fashion and festivals go hand in hand as everyone likes to look good on such occasions. This year I am going to wear an elaborate anarkali from Pakistan. I would suggest readers to keep it simple and traditional during festivals. Also to all readers of Tellychakkar.com, may Almighty grant all your wishes; Eid Mubarak. Sehban Azim: Go traditional on the occasion and get your kurta and pyjamas out on the day. Collared kurtas really look good with salwars and straight fitted kurtas with pathanis. Although black and white are an all time favourite but fresh colors like blue, brick red and green also looks really good. Shafaq Naaz: First of all Eid Mubarak to all of you. I always wear salwar suits on festivals and mostly like the color white. Wearing a plain suit with a heavy dupatta always works. And if one doesn’t like wearing plain white, they can always opt for bright printed dupattas. It looks really graceful. Ayaz Ahmed: Personally I like wearing kurta pyajamas on festivals. And I think Jodhpuris are really in this season and you can team it up with pathani. It really looks elegant. Also black and white are my personal favourites. And if somebody wants to experiment they can go for grey, maroons or anything in dark shades. Sana Khan (Arjun): White is the color for occasion. With bakra halal happening, the day is all about red meat though (laughs). I have been a bit busy and haven’t really shopped for anything but I am planning to get something. It’s a time for celebrations and fun so dress up in your best avatar.
