#IPLFever: TV celebs go gaga over cricket

IPL

With the IPL fever gripping the world, cricket is the only buzz all around.

The matches have been becoming all the more exciting, and soon the league matches will end. But before that we got our favourite TV celebs to talk about their fav teams and players...

Have a look...

Upen Patel

I am supporting Gujarat Lions. My family is from Gujarat and I am so happy that the state finally has an IPL team. They have a strong squad with mix of great Indian players, so it's going to be exciting to see how they perform.

Shamata Anchan

Being born and brought up in Mumbai, I am supporting Mumbai Indians.

Shantanu Maheshwari

I support Kolkata Knight Riders. Being from the city, I have too much love for it. And I am rooting for AB De Villiers.

Vishal Vashishtha

Though they are currently at the bottom, I was supporting Rising Pune Super Giants for MS Dhoni. I really respect his intelligence.

VJ Andy

Delhi Dragons won last year and I was and am doting for them. I've always been a great fan of MS Dhoni, so was rooting for him too.

Yuvika Chaudhary

I am supporting my friend Md Irfan Pathan.

Manish Raisinghani

When you are watching an IPL match all you want to have is a "blast". Honestly "sare jahan se accha hindustan hamara" so I don’t support any particular team. I just enjoy every bit of the game and remain on the side who entertains me more.

Zaan Khan

My heart goes out for KKR and I support Gautam and Shakib.

Vatsal Sheth

Since Dhoni and Rahane are my favourites, so it was Pune Super Giants for me.

Varun Badola

I do not support any one team in the IPL. Though I do try and keep an eye on the new local talents. Though it has become a doorway for young players to showcase their talent and knock on the doors of the national team, with boys like Sarfaraaz proving their worth, I somewhere still feel that quite a few players are content with their contracts and at best want to find a place in the ODI team. We would not be producing good test cricketers unless the new lads have the temperament of a Kohli or a Rahane.

Shrenu

Gujarat Lions and Mumbai Indians go without saying. But my heart will beat for Virat forever.

Siddharth Arora

I am not supporting any one team in particular. I want a tough tournament where no one team is favourite and there are many close matches because this is what will make things interesting. Few teams which are my personal favourite are Mumbai Indians, and Kolkata Players.

Rachana Parulkar:

Undoubtedly Mumbai Indians as I belong from Aamchi Mumbai.  Sachin Tendulkar is mentoring them quite well. He plays a very important role for me in choosing MI. Rohit Sharma is whom I will root for, he being the captain. But if you ask me about favourite cricketer it's none other than ‘Virat’!

Sumeet Bhardwaj

My all time favourite player is Ab De Villiers. Since he is playing for RCB, I really wanted them to do well.

Vipul Gupta

Mumbai Indians, as Amchi Mumbai. I am cheering for Ashish Nehra.

Waseem Mushtaq

I have been supporting RCB and the only reason for that is Virat Kohli. He's a phenomenal player. Wish they could have done better!

Aakanksha Singh:

I am not supporting any team as such but I enjoy watching good matches were there are players like Tim Southee who bowls well. I also enjoy watching Virat, MS Dhoni and DJ Bravo.
