It’s the day of the year when people loosen up their purse’s strings and splurge! Be it buying gold, or household goods; it’s said to be auspicious to get something new this day. Also people worship Goddess Laxmi, and pray for a prosperous and a good ‘financial’ year.

Every year I buy a silver coin on Dhanteras. I had bought silver coins last year too. I like Silver stuff at home. I want Goddess Lakshmi to bless me and my family with good health and prosperity.
