Ankush Arora and Sonal Vengurlekar, the lead couple of Zee TV’s Yeh Vaada Raha (Trishulla Productions) have always maintained a cordial relationship as co-actors. 

However, it seems as though they broke all ties of being cordial on sets yesterday (8 September), when they apparently slapped each other....

Yes, a huge chaos broke out on the set in the evening yesterday when Ankush and Sonal got into a verbal spat that went on to turn aggressive. 

A source present on the set told us, “Sonal and Ankush were rehearsing their scenes when the director called for action. However, Sonal who was busy with her lines did not respond immediately. And Ankush grew wild, and spoke in a rude manner to Sonal asking her whether she is not able to hear orders of directors. This resulted in both of them arguing, literally in front of everyone present on the set. Ankush reportedly used foul and abusive language to which Sonal grew wild and slapped him hard. Ankush who got offended apparently returned the favour by slapping Sonal. As per sources, the scene out there got so ugly that Sonal immediately called the police to settle things for her.”

We hear that police personals came to the set of Yeh Vaada Raha. But the production team by then convinced Sonal to go soft with her actions, as the shoot would suffer. In the mean time, Producers Vikas Seth and Mahesh Pandey talked to both the actors and gave them a pep talk. 

If sources are to be believed, Sonal insisted that Ankush apologized to her in public. And owing to the pressure put by the production, Ankush apparently ended up apologizing to the lady. The shoot we hear resumed after the hand shake and apologies happened. 

Phew!! Shocking, isn’t it?

We tried our level best to get in touch with Ankush and Sonal but they remained out of reach.

When we buzzed the Producer Mahesh Pandey, he replied to us via a text, “I don’t want to comment anything on this incident.”

The channel spokesperson also remained unavailable to comment.

Seems like there’s certainly a lull after the storm!! We just hope all falls in place as far as the shoot of the show is concerned!

With the police yet to clarify the case, the team of Yeh Vaada is keeping the developments under wrap. We will update viewers with more information as and when we get any more details.
