Love is a very beautiful feeling and it makes young hearts melt. Well, something similar seems to be happening with Shritama Mukherjee who has just finished shooting for her short stint in Life OK’s Do Dil Ek Jaan (Life OK). According to sources, Shritama, who first splashed on the small screen scene with Sony Entertainment Television’s Dekha Ek Khwaab, seems to have developed romantic inkling for her Do Dil co-star Kanwar Dhillon (came into prominence with Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha Season 2). Kanwar on his part seems to be still undecided about the relationship for he sometimes reciprocates to Shritama’s feelings and sometime just walks away from her. The couple had been inseparable, sticking to each other, at the recent signing-off party of Do Dil. Here, it would be interesting to note that though this Nautanki Telefilms produced show never managed to get good numbers at the ratings front or create any kind of special connect with the masses, it always hogged limelight for its off-screen incidences. There were reports that the show’s previous leads Ayaz Ahmed and Nikita Sharma also fell in love while shooting for the project and were let go by the makers to bring in a sequential change eyeing hike in numbers. Many say that Ayaz and Nikita’s not-so-professional attitude and also lack of acting abilities, led to their replacement. However, that’s all in the past and now let’s get back to the affair buzz of Shritama and Kanwar. When we asked Shritama about her Cupid experience, she laughed and said, “How can I like Kanwar? He is still childish and immature. I can’t like men of my age. I want someone who will take charge of things since I do goof ups. Having said that Kanwar and I have become extremely good friends, for we were the only new entries when Do Dil took a 20 year leap. We have great off-screen chemistry as well.” When we pointed out to Shritama that she was constantly spotted hand-in-hand with Kanwar at the send-off party and she said, “How silly of that. I was also spending equal amount of time with my other co-star Akshay Dogra. I reached the venue at around 9.30 pm and left before midnight when the party wrapped up. The entire unit was there, and I also enjoyed with my director sir and all older cast guys who had left the show before we entered.” This was Shritama’s version. Next, when we got in touch with Kanwar, he too maintained the routine “just good friends” status and added, “We are different from each other. While she is out going and chilled out, I am a more reserved kind of a guy.” It seems they know each other pretty well and as they say, opposites attract. Anyways, moving on, the actor added, “Talking about the party, we will obviously spend time with people who we know. On the set only Shritama, Akshay and I were of the same age rest all were above 30 or so, hence the bond.” They might deny, but our sources maintain that they are very much in love.
