The smart and good looking Harshad Arora has recently stepped into the world of TV with his show Beintehaa on Colors. Playing the lead role of Zain the chocolate boy has charmed the audience and got himself noticed by the fairer sex quite soon. Harshad here talks to Tellychakkar.com to share his fitness mantra in our Lifestyle section. Personal fitness mantra? I believe in eating healthy and sleeping well. Personal diet mantra? I had to follow a very strict diet after I took up Beintehaa to play Zain to perfection. I increased the intake of fibre and protein in my diet and cut down on carbs. I have been following the same till date. Are you a foodie? Yes. Since I am from Delhi, I have been always fond of eating interesting and yummy food. Exercise routine? I try to hit the gym as much as possible, but on days when I have a hectic shoot schedule, I make sure I at least go for jogging. Are you a vegetarian or a non-vegetarian? I have been a vegetarian throughout my life. Favourite cuisine? I love eating Lebanese, Italian, Moroccan, Continental and Indian food. Favourite dish… Since I am on a diet, I am in love with eating fresh rocket salad these days. A must on your breakfast table? A glass of milk is a must on my breakfast table. Sugar or sugar-free tea/coffee… I prefer my tea or coffee without sugar. Lunch generally consists of? My lunch consists of a variety of salads. Dinner generally consists of? I prefer consuming a soup at night. Dessert delights? I have a fetish for dark chocolates. My favourite drink (non-alcoholic). Green tea. My favourite drink (alcoholic). Hmm…I love sipping on red wine. Most unusual dish I have tasted? None actually. Experiment with food… Absolutely. I love experimenting with food and trying new dishes. On the streets, I love to have… Aloo ki tikki and gol gappe. Do you cook? (Laughs) I wish I could! Fitness tip? As I mentioned earlier, I would like to advise people to eat healthy and sleep well.
