Gaurav Chopra, last seen in Nach Baliye is creating quite a few ripples these days with his macho bare chest look in Left Right Left. Anil Merani caught up with the dude to find out more about his fitness fundas in life. My Fitness Mantra: Be happy and work hard. A fit body requires a healthy mind. Hence, try to avoid stress and think positive. A smile will not cost you anything. Good physique mantra: I believe that no instructor or a book can tell you how to be fit. One has to find that out on his own. Each one of us has a different physique and body metabolism, so what exercise regimen works for me, might not work for others and vice versa. It's not possible for everyone to look like a muscular hunk. One should never go for six pack abs look. My Daily Dose of Diet: Although I try to avoid fatty stuff but that does not mean that I will not indulge myself once in a while with a chocolate. My diet consists of a lot of natural stuff such as salads, fruits and proteins. My note on Gym and exercise: I work out thrice a week for about 45 minutes. I begin with a warm up session and then proceed to heavy weights. It keeps on changing from one part to another. Like other guys,I too pay special attention to my abs and shoulders. I never ignore my lower back and legs. My covert health mantra: Sound sleep is very essential for me. Little or too much rest always upsets my body balance. Unfortunately, all TV stars falter a lot on this yardstick. I never smoke nor drink and avoid having tea. I never take any kind of artificial stimulants or depressants. Sex Appeal: I enjoy being called as `Sexy' and specially, when the opposite sex drools over my fit body. However, certain comments do make me uncomfortable, like recently somebody told me that I have no right to look so good as it takes away the attention from other guys in the show! My word of caution: Always try to maintain a proportionate frame and never put that paunch back in, it looks very peculiar, right!
