Personal fitness mantra: Eat, sleep and think well.
Diet mantra: I drink lots of water to cleanse my system. It also helps the skin glow. I keep away from fried and spicy food.
Exercise routine: I do exercises which focus on the upper half of my body. I do flat benches, inclined and disinclined chest. I love to hit the gym whenever time permits. Had I not been an actor, I would have been a wrestler (pehelwan).
Is food the elixir of life Yes, I am a Jat and for us, food is the nectar of life.
Are you a foodie? Yes, big-time.
Are you a vegetarian or non-vegetarian?I am both.
Favourite cuisine: Punjabi.
Favourite dish: I love the kadhi-chawal and rajma-chawal cooked by my mother.
Favourite restaurant: There is no particular restaurant. I just randomly visit a restaurant and if I like the quality and the taste, I try to visit it again.
A must on my breakfast table: Omelets. I am very fond of eggs and can have them for all the meals.
Sugar or sugar-free for my tea/coffee... I don’t like tea much and prefer to have milk. I prefer to have juice instead of tea or coffee
Lunch generally consists of… a sabzi, chapatis and dal.
Dinner generally consists of…Tandoori chicken or egg whites.
Dessert delights… I love jalebis, kaju katlis and rasgulla.
One thing I can’t resist… currently its cheese burst pizza.
My favourite drink (non-alcoholic)… any juice
My favourite drink (alcoholic)… Coconut malibu.
At parties I have… I am not fussy about food at parties. I can have everything served on my plate.
Most unusual dish I've tasted… a dear friend of mine tried something unusual and I fail to remember its name. But trust me just after the very first morsel I decided I will never ever have it. I also requested my friend to never try and make such weird dishes.
Experiment with food… I love experimenting and mind you, I am a fantastic cook.
On the streets, I love to have…pani puri.

Favourite recipe:
Kadhi chawal
Recipe: Kadhi pakoras
Ingredients :- Kadhi:
Sour curd - 1 kg
Gram Flour - 1 cup
Water - 1 litre
Onions - 2 chopped
Garlic - 6 cloves
Ginger - 1 piece
Salt to taste
1 tsp garam masala
Oil - 3 tsp
Chopped coriander - 50 gm
Tadka
Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
Fenugreek seeds - 1/2 tsp
Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
6 -7 curry leaves
Pakora:
Gram Flour - 250 gm
Onions -1
Fenugreek leaves chopped
Salt to taste
Red chili powder - 1/2 tsp
Oil
Method:
1. Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard, fenugreek and cumin seeds. Add ginger garlic paste.
2. Fry the paste till it is brown, add chopped onion and fry them till light brown. Keep aside.
3. Make batter with gram flour; add water, salt and spices.
4. Add onion, chopped chillies and fenugreek or spinach leaves. Heat oil in a kadai.
5. Make pakoras (balls). Beat curd, add gram flour and water and stir well.
6. Add this to the fried onion-ginger garlic paste. Add salt and powdered masala to it.
7. Bring it to a boil, lower the heat. Cook for 10-15 minutes till it coats the back of the ladle, add pakoras and chopped coriander. Cover and keep it aside.
